Uncle Jay and family,
I am saddened to learn of LuAnn’s passing and am sad that I will not be able to be at her service. Though we have lived far away for most of our adult lives, I do have fond memories of time spent with LuAnn and my other Briscoe cousins at Gradma’s house, at your house for Thanksgiving dinners and whenever we were together.
When this life is over I look forward to a happy reunion with all my family and particularly to being able to get to know LuAnn as she truly is.
With love,
Richard Manning
Dear Briscoe Family,
My dearest sympathies go out to all of you! I had a wonder opportunity to work with LuAnn when I worked for the Hobbs Home!! LuAnn made it a truly enlightening experience to come to work everyday and in my heart she will truly be missed!!
Jay and Family;
I remember the good times we spent together in Kaysville. At this time I remember my Marge’s assoication with LuAnn. She taught her in Mutial and seemed to pay special atention to LuAnn. She loved her and so much wanted to help her. She was special to Marge. May the blessing of the Lord be with you and your family.
Dear Briscoe Family,
I’m a member of the Lakeview Ward where LuAnn attended church. I loved seeing her each week. I learned that her birthday was June 27, that she was allergic to chocolate, and that she like getting her hair cut. She loved to bear her testimony and sing the hymns. She also knew when it was time to go home and let everyone know it! She was very loved in our ward and will be greatly missed.
jay and family, i learned so much from both betty and luAnn. loved how your family treated luAnn just the same as any of the other children. luAnn was so much fun to be around, in our ward in kaysville. she was the same age as me. betty made sure all of in luAnn classes treated luAnn with love and respect. luAnn was so well liked and accepted. i feel like a better person for knowing luAnn. i am now raising my 11 year old special needs granddaughter, whom i love so much, i think betty and luAnn taught me a lot, about how special luAnn and all special needs children are. make the lord bless youy family at this time. love karen godfrey gustaveson
To all of the Briscoe family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. I grew up across the road from Wilfred & Elna’s family and they have always meant a lot to me. So, my heart goes out to every one of them. Thank goodness for the Savior’s plan and the fact that we know what we know!
Love to all, Sandra Lemmon Orton
To all of the Briscoe family, I too grew up across the street from the Briscoe family and consider them all as my most cherished friends. I was sorry to hear of the passing of LuAnn. My love goes out to all of you. Sincerely, Dave Lemmon
