May the words at 1 Corinthians 15:26 be of comfort to the friends and family of Ann, where it says "the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing."

As far back as I can remember Ann is part of my memories. I remember visiting the family home in the Tri Cities as a child. When the Putnam Ranch RoundUps began I got to see her every year. My coziest thoughts of Ann are her gentle nature and sweet, beautiful smile. Her incredible singing voice touched my heart. When my mom passed, she expressed willingness to sing at Mom’s funeral. She asked whether there was a song preference. I told her there was a Bette Midler song that Mom liked “Wind Beneath My Wings”. Her reaction was she could do it, but Midler wasn’t her style. We got a hold of the music and my sister-in-law, Diane played the piano for her. Ann told me that she liked this song so well she would add it to her repertoire. I wish peace and sweet memories to all of Ann’s loved ones. Marijke Albers

To the Family,
I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. Losing my parent has been difficult for me.
However, I found this scripture helpful. At 2 Cor 1:3,4 it says: “3Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;4Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”
Hopefully thinking about what these verses state can help your family during this time as it has for me.
