Mark L West passed way on April 26, 2019, surrounded by his family in Pocatello, Idaho. Mark was born on May 1, 1962, in American Falls, Idaho, to Mike and Roberta West. Mark was raised in American Falls and graduated from American Falls High School.

Mark learned the value of hard work at an early age and was very dedicated to jobs.  Mark worked at Snake River Cattle Company during high school and later moved to Pocatello where he began his career as a small engine and boat mechanic.  It seems that he had found his gift, as he could repair any ATV, snow machine, boat, or RV.  Mark enjoyed working on big boy toys and was a master of them all.

Mark married Tracy Hayes and they were blessed with two sons, David and Tyler.  Though Mark and Tracy later divorced they maintained a great friendship through the years.

Mark spent several years with Kris Mendenhall.  During this time they enjoyed spending time with their families, camping and their mini horses.

Mark enjoyed fishing, camping, photography, riding snow machines, and hunting.

Mark is survived by his sons, David West and Tyler (Kelsey) West; his grandson, Tristen West; his brother, Lonzo West; and his twin sister, Cindy West.  He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

The family would like to thank Horizon Home Health and Hospice and Ashley Manor for the care and comfort they provided for Mark.

A memorial service for Mark will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends, so sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in knowing that Jehovah God will soon resurrect our dear loved ones (John 5:28-29). O how we long for the day when pain, suffering and death will be no more, these former things will have passed away (Revelation 21:3-4).
