Ronald C. Peck, 89, passed away at his home on Monday, January 13, 2020.

Ronald was born to Clarence and Eva (Kellow) Peck in Pocatello, Idaho, November 4, 1930.

He received his education here in Pocatello through Roosevelt and Pocatello High School. He married Nancy Thompson on March 6, 1950 and that union lasted for 65 ½ years, until her passing in 2015.

Early in his life he helped his mom upholster at Cams Upholstery. He went through trade school to become a mechanic, and also sold welding supplies.

He was a dedicated individual to the Central Christian Church here in Pocatello.

Ronald was quite the marksman and enjoyed reloading his spent ammunition. Loving the outdoors, he enjoyed his hunting, fishing, camping and exploring activities. He also enjoyed his out of state job training experiences, but always missed his sweet heart while he was gone. He thoroughly loved his family and close friends. Ronald and Nancy would never part without saying “See you later Alligator, in a while Crocodile.”

Ronald is survived by his children, Rhonda Anthony, Clinton Peck and Karen Peck; grandchildren, Toni Lyn, Mandy and Kaylee; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Jillian, John, Ozias, Codi, Chantz and Charli; and great-great-grandchildren, Wade and Waylon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva and Clarence; his wife, Nancy; granddaughter, Tazzy and great-grandson, Indigo Jo.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 12 noon at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID, with a viewing from 10:30 am until noon.

Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5th Ave. Pocatello, ID.

Ron was such a cute soul, upon visiting he always made me feel quite welcome. There always seemed to be a hot pot of coffee on and a cup with conversation. A very genuine spirit, I will miss him dearly. Condolences to the family.
