I am very sorry for your loss. It can be hard for friends and family to find the right words to say. Thankfully, we can echo the comforting words that we read in the Bible. At Revelation 21:4 it tells us that the God of all comfort will soon do away with all suffering, sickness, tears, and death. Daniel 12:2 tells us that God will even undo the effects of death at that time. Until then, may your loving memories of Cameron bring you comfort during this difficult time. Your family has my sincerest condolences.

If you would like to read these scriptures and more comforting thoughts from the Bible, please visit the website listed. This is where I found these beautiful scriptures. You can click on the link for Bible Teachings and then Bible Questions Answered. You will see a section called Life and Death. It really helped me when I lost a loved one. I hope it can help you too.

To the parents of Cameron~ I would like to tell you how deeply sorry I am to hear of the loss of your son. My heart breaks for you today as I lost my 19 year old son Ryan to suicide in 2011; I know we've not met but if you ever need someone to talk to who understands the pain you are experiencing, please feel free to contact me anytime. I've spent the last three years advocating for at-risk kids (mostly LGBT) via a non-profit founded in my son's honor and reaching out to other parents who experience this loss. Please let me know if there is anything I can do at all, even if it's just to listen.
Much love and light to you~ Julie Zicha

"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget." - Author Unknown

Wishing the family to find comfort and laughter while they walk thru their pain. No words can ease the feelings of losing a son, a father, a family member that was that young in life. My thoughts tonight are with those family members trying to survive this and I hope they find comfort in time.
