Biography

Betty passed quietly at her home on Jan 28th, 2010.

Betty was born in Grand Junction Colorado on June 5th, 1925. She was a registered nurse working with Dr. Harms serving the community of American Falls for many years and later Jerome, Id. After retirement from nursing in 1995 she settled in Pocatello to be close to her family and friends. She continued her passion for helping others by taking a position at St. Anthony Catholic Church.

She is survived by two brothers, Dr. Clark Kelly ( Kelly) of San Diego, California and Dr. Monte Kelly (Kathleen) of San Diego and a son Roger Annen (Darlene) of Rockland and three daughters Kelly Permann of Pocatello, Mary Tait (Vardell) of McCammon and Alisa O’Berry (Steven) of Pocatello. She has 14 grand children and 4 great-grand children.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, February 1, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Holy Spirit Catholic Community St. Anthony Chapel, 524 N. 7th Ave, with a Rosary service directly following at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at the St. Anthony Chapel. Burial will follow at Falls View Cemetery in American Falls.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Holy Spirit Catholic Community Building Fund in memory of Betty.
