She grew up and lived all her life in Fort Hall, Idaho.  She attended schools locally, Tyhee Elementary, Hawthorne, and Highland and also attended Chemewa Indian Boarding school. She worked various odd jobs in harvesting season and when she wasn't working; she was home taking care of her family.

She always made sure she took care of her relatives when they would come to visit her. Most left with at least a big fresh bag (da'ot) dry deer meat. She was well known for her generosity and always helping out anytime her family and relatives needed her, from sharing her wisdom, cooking, or just wanted to sit talk with her. She was a kind, generous, loving, caring, spit fiery woman with a heart of gold. No task to big enough for her.  She would always find a way get things done and taken care of.
